'Beauty - The Real Picture' - Holiday Workshop

Come and join us for one of our most loved workshops! This workshop has been running for almost 10 years and gets delivered to hundreds of girls' each year, receiving huge feedback and praise for the positive impact it makes.

The program educates girls about the concepts of self-esteem and body image and helps them to identify how they currently feel about themselves and their appearance. It addresses how and why young girls develop certain views of themselves. We look at how their changing body shape during puberty may affect how they see themselves, and we explore the big impact society and the media (including social media) has on shaping our views on our bodies/appearance. The program explores the reasons behind our own individual physical characteristics, body shape and size, celebrates diversity and encourages the girls to accept their physical appearance.
