About the event

It is well documented that there are enormous benefits to healthy friendships in both childhood and adulthood, however navigating friendships throughout pre-teen years can be challenging and difficult. As your tweens friendships start to become more important to her, it is crucial for her to be able to seek out healthy friendships and identify the negative ones.

This three hour workshop will provide your daughter with helpful tools, she will learn strategies and be given tips to assist her to navigate her friendships in a positive and productive way. We will cover everything your Tween needs to know about pre-teen friendships including:

  • What healthy friendships feel and look like
  • The changing dynamics between pre-teen girls
  • Problems that pop up in friendship groups
  • How to handle friendship DRAMA
  • How to spot a toxic friendship (and how to deal it!)
  • Identify what qualities are important in a friend AND important to YOUR daughter
  • How she can be a great friend to others

The workshop is fun and interactive, using a variety of activities and discussion. If you want your daughter's friendship skills to GROW, then this is a fantastic workshop to build on the skills that she has developed so far, and extend them further.

There are two workshops on offer on the 20/09. If you sign up to both workshops (please note the morning workshop is only open to 9 yrs and older) you will receive a discounted price. Supervision will be provided during the lunch break. Please make sure you choose the correct ticket option, if you wish to attend both workshops.
